For over 60 years, Brookfield Christian School has partnered with families in Brookfield, Waukesha County, and surrounding communities to provide a Christ-centered education from 3K through 8th grade. We are now excited to continue this mission with Brookfield Christian High School, opening in fall 2027, offering students a seamless path to grow in faith, learning, and leadership.
OUR MISSION
Brookfield Christian High School seeks to further the kingdom of God by educating students who are rooted in biblical truth, taught with academic excellence, and formed by Christian community. Our students are equipped to serve God and their neighbor in every area of life.
We are committed to a Reformed Christian worldview, recognizing God’s sovereignty over all creation. Partnering with Christian families and the broader community is central to cultivating vibrant faith through a holistic educational experience.
OUR BEGINNINGS
The vision for a Christian high school in Brookfield began in 1957, when parents from Brookfield Christian Reformed Church sought to establish a school grounded in faith. Milwaukee Christian School opened in 1967 with just two teachers and nineteen students and became Brookfield Christian School in 2003 to reflect its location. Today, the school serves over 300 students in 3K–8th grades.
In 2022, parents renewed discussions to create a Christian high school, recognizing the unique opportunity for faith formation during the high school years. A committee explored feasibility, identified a site, raised significant funds, and hosted an open house in 2024—allowing families to envision the future of high school education in Brookfield.
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE WITH A CHRISTIAN PERSPECTIVE
Brookfield Christian High School will be a private, multi-denominational Christian high school serving families in Brookfield, Waukesha, Milwaukee, and surrounding communities. Students will receive a rigorous academic education through a biblical lens while developing character, leadership, and faith.
Our first classes in freshman and sophomore years will begin in fall 2027, with the inaugural graduating class expected in 2030.
OUR FACILITY
We’ve partnered with Elmbrook Church, located at 777 S. Barker Road in Brookfield, just minutes from Bluemound Road and Highway 94, and across from Marx Park. Elmbrook brings extensive experience partnering with schools and community organizations.
